Rules and Policies
By signing up for the $200 membership, you will have access to rent our tennis and pickleball courts at any time of the day, be it morning, noon, or night.
Non-members can attend all classes and are welcome to rent our courts online under Court Reservations
Office Hours
Monday thru Friday: 9:00AM-12:30PM - 3:00PM- 8:00PM
Saturday and Sunday: 9:00AM-5:00PM

(Courts will open upon 1st reservations and close after last reservation)

Reservations
Non-members may book a court online the day-of, or on a drop-in basis if courts are available.
Torrance residents who are members may reserve up to 7 days in advance.
Non-residents who are members may reserve up to 2 days in advance.
• ONE court may be reserved per reservation.
• A MAXIMUM OF 2 HOURS PER RESERVATION.
Court rental fee must be paid at the time of reservation.
Reservations may not be made through the telephone answering machine.
Tennis Instructors/Coaches/Hitters
Only USPTA tennis instructors/coaches/hitters under contract with South Bay Tennis Center may teach/coach/hit and reserve courts at South Bay Tennis Center.
The following Grace Periods apply:
• For 1 hour reservations….7 minutes after the hour
• For 2 hour reservations...12 minutes after the hour.
After this period of time, the courts will be sold on a first come first serve basis.
Rain Check/Credit
Credit will be applied to your account in the case of canceled reservations due to rain.
Member will be able to apply this credit toward future reservations.
No-Shows and Late Cancellations
Reservations canceled after 8:00PM prior to day of reservation will forfeit their rental fee. Cancellations made before 8:00PM prior to day of reservation or earlier will receive credit on their membership account which can be applied toward their next reservation.
Other Policies
Children are not to be left unattended.
Soccer cleats, bikes, rollerblades, skateboards, etc., will NOT be allowed on the courts
Food is not permitted on the courts
Alcohol is not permitted anywhere on city facilities
Smoking is prohibited on the tennis courts and in the clubhouse
